Zy-Sauce Marinade Whole Baked Chicken

You might want to consider cooking two chickens. Once you try it, one chicken may not be enough!.

1 Whole Baking Chicken
1 Cup of Zy-Sauce Marinade
½ Tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 Tsp of Durkee California Style Blends Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Seasoning Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 225° degrees.

  2. Clean and place whole chicken on a doubled layer sheet of Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil.
    "Enough to completely wrap chicken".

  3. Pour Zy-Sauce Marinade and fill the cavity of the chicken. Pour the remaining amout over
    chicken. Make sure all the marinade stays in and around the chicken in the aluminum foil.

  4. Sprinkle black pepper, Garlic Powder and seasoning salt evenly over chicken.

  5. Completely wrap chicken in the heavy duty foil. No chicken should be exposed.

  6. Place wrapped chicken on a baking pan and place in preheated oven.

  7. Bake at 225° degrees for 3 hours.

  8. Remove chicken from oven and fold back aluminum foil to expose chicken.

  9. Increase oven temperature to 300° degrees

  10. Replace chicken uncovered into oven for 1 hour, allowing top of chicken to brown.

  11. Slice and Serve!
